Calathea Lancifolia in AreaWare Planter

The Calathea Lancifolia, also known as a Rattlesnake Calathea, have beautiful and ornate leaves that look as though the've been painted by hand. In their natural habitat growing on the rainforest floor the colorful striations act as protection from animal predators. 

Likes bright indirect light, diffused to lower light conditions. Likes humidity and moderately moist soil. Water when top 2" of soil feels dry to touch. And they like filtered water and are non-Toxic to cats and dogs.

It is potted in our beautiful AreaWare stacking planter. It has a built in drip try that is worked into the design––the bottom layer is removable!
